4 OutLook ES Series Installer/User Guide FLASH upgradable The OutLook ES is FLASH upgradable. This allows you to update your firmware at any time through a simple serial connection to ensure that your OutLook system is always running the most current version available.

18 OutLook ES Series Installer/User Guide Powering up the OutLook Switch System The switch must be powered up before the attached servers since the switch stores mouse and keyboard connection and rate data for each server. The switch uses this information to initialize the keyboard and mouse interfaces of the servers.

24 OutLook ES Series Installer/User Guide Setting up OSCAR You can configure your OutLook system from the Setup dialog box. Use the Scan, Menu, Flag, Security and Broadcast options to manage routine tasks for your servers.
