Chapter 1 The Setup Menu System 1. General Steps of Setup Menu a) Press the Setup button, the main setup menu appears. When the main menu displayed, the DVD system will auto pause.
2. Setup Items Introduction a) SYSTEM SETUP The system setup options are illustrated below: u TV SYSTEM According to the Color System of the TV , you can choose the TV System. l AUTO: Choose this settings if your DVD player is connected to a multi-system TV .
P-SCAN: Choose this setting if your DVD player is connected to a progressive scan TV with Y , Cb, Cr video cables. l PC-VGA: Choose this setting if your DVD player is connected to a progressive scan TV or a monitor with a VGA video cable. S-Video: This function can be used when the player is connect with TV by S-V ideo cable.
u RA TING The Rating feature is a rating limit system, like movie ratings. It works with DVD discs that have been assigned a rating. This helps you control the types of DVDs that your family watches. There are eight rating options. The default setting is 1 G.
u Highlight the AUDIO LANG option, and press the Arrow buttons to choose the audio language you prefer. Press Enter to confirm. If the disc you are playing has that language available, it will output audio in that language; There are 8 optional audio languages: English,Chinese,India,Thailand,Russia,Uzbekistan,Srilanks and Philippne.
c) AUDIO SETUP The audio setup options are illustrated below: u Highlight the AUDIO OUT option, and press the Arrow buttons to choose the audio output mode you prefer. Press Enter to confirm; There are 3 optional audio output modes: SPDIF/OFF, SPDIF / RAW , and SPDIF/ PCM.
u ECHO Use the Up and Down arrow button to move the scroll and adjust the echo. u MIC VOL Use the Up and Down arrow button to move the scroll and adjust the microphone volume. u KEY Use the Up and Down arrow button to move the scroll and adjust the key.
d) VIDEO SETUP The video setup options are illustrated below: u BRIGHTNESS Use the Up and Down arrow button to move the scroll and adjust the brightness.
e) SPEAKER SETUP The speaker setup options are illustrated below: u DOWNMIX Use the Up and Down arrow button to move the scroll and adjust the saturation. l LT / R T: Choose this setting, it will be sound like in a movie theatre if the original movie disc is recorded in the Pro Logic Dolby Digital format.
u CENTER DELA Y Y ou can adjust center delay in this option u REAR DELA Y Y ou can adjust rear delay in this option. 15.
f) DIGITAL SETUP The video setup options are illustrated below: u OP MODE l LINE OUT : Choose this setting to line out the input signal. It will be more suitable for playing in the night time, for the output volume is low. l RF REMOD: It will be more suitable to choose this setting for playing in the day time, for the output volume is high.
Chapter 2 Basic Operation 17 Press OPEN/CLOSE button when power on, the disc tray is pushed out. Put the disc on the tray with the title faced up. Press OPEN/CLOSE again to close the disc tray and the unit starts playing automatically .
The Program Playback option allows you to enter the order in which Chapters or tracks you want to play, maximum to 16. Program Menu: DVD,WMA,MP3/JPEG dises: SVCD,VCD,CD,CD-G,HD-CD,DTS-CD discs: ² If PBC is on, this operation will turn PBC off while the chapters / tracks plays In programmed order.
19 When playing DVD disc, press NEXT to the next chapter . When playing VCD, VCD, CD, MP3 disc, press NEXT to the next track. Press N/P button to switch the video format in turn, There are P AL, NTSC,AUTO formats.
