INTRODUCTION The 2160 is ideal for mowing pond embankme nt levee or drainage ditches, and cutting overhanging limbs on fence rows. For Non-Agricultural use, OSHA, ASAE, SAE, a nd ANSI standards requ ire the use of Chain Guards, Def lectors, or Solid Skirts at all times.

Move left r ear tire out so that it is 50 inches minimum from th e outside of left rear tire to the center of trac- tor . Then move the right rear tire out so that it is 96 inches minimum between the outside o f the left an d right rear tires.

Attach the electric valve to the plate using the two 3/8 x 5 bolts, four 3/8 flatwashers, and two 3/8 lockwashers.

TRACT OR REQUIREMENTS The tractor used to operate the mower must have the power capacity to lif t, pull, and operate the Power T ake Off (PT O) at the mower ’s rated speed while traveling at a ground speed between 2 and 5 MPH.

OPERA TION Do not operate th e unit under any circumstan ce if the slope is 10 degrees or greater . 3.4 T ractor Ballast T o ensure tractor stability when operat ing on flat surfaces the left rear tractor tire MUST exert a minimum down force (weight) of 1500 lbs.

Front end weight is critical to mainta in steering control and to preven t the tracto r from rea ring up while driving.

IMPORT ANT : DO NOT use your hands to check for oil leaks. Use a piece of heavy p aper or cardboar d to check for hydraulic oil leaks.

Identify any drop-of fs, slopes, holes, hidd en obstructions or similar obstacle that could cause the tractor to loose stability and potential roll-over .

One is the on-of f swit ch to the cutter motor an d the other is the position control valve. ON-OFF Switch (Mower V alve) - T o operate the mower , pull the switch while the tracto r is running.

OPERA TION Rot ary Cutter • The Rhino 2160 Rot ary Cutting Head is rated to cut vegetation up to 2” in diameter . • Objects tend to be thrown out from under the head in the direction of blade ro tation and toward the r aised edge of th e shroud.

Keep the engine speed at normal operating speed o f 540 RPM, and push the M otor Switch IN to the S top position.
