8 • Remov e and store the mow er stop brack et and bolt from both sides of the tractor frame . See fi gure 3. • Remov e the two bolts from the bottom of the f oot rests on both sides of the tractor frame .

10 FIGURE 17 LEFT SIDE VIEW • Remov e the nylon tie which f astens the chute crank rod to the crank suppor t tube . • Assemble the cr ank suppor t tube (fl at side) to the two brac k ets on the left side of the thro wer hous ing using two 3/8" x 1-1/2" he x bolts, 3/8" loc k wash ers and 3/8" he x lock nuts .
11 FIGURE 19 RIGHT FRONT CORNER VIEW • Coat the top of the ring around the dis charge open ing with general purpose grease. See fi gure 19. • Place the discharge chute (f acing forw ard) onto the discharge opening, aligning the crank rod spiral with the notch es in the chute fl ange.
12 AUGER BEL T • Make sure the auger belt is correctly assemb led to the snow thro wer . The belt must pass ov er the top of the auger pulley and then twist 1/4 turn to pass un der neath the two side idler pulleys on the sno w throw er . The "V" side of the belt must seat in the groo ves of all three pulle ys.

14 • Place the weight k eg on the weight tra y and fi ll with appro ximately 100 lbs. of dr y sand. • Secure the keg with the rubber tarp strap hooked into the holes in the cross brace .

16 • In e xtremely deep snow , raise the snow throw er from the ground to remo ve the top la yer and driv e forw ard only until the tractors front tires reach the uncleared bottom la yer of sno w . Depress the tractor's clutch- brak e pedal and allow the spiral auger to clear the snow .
