System tour 4 English System peripherals The AcerPower M4 comput e r consists of the system itself, and system peripherals, like a mouse, a keyboard and a set of speakers (optional). This section pr ovides a brief descri ption of basic syst em peripherals.

Open the computer Before removing any panels or covers, please make sure to shut off the computer and unplu g the po wer cord from the outlet.
7 English Setting up your computer The AcerPower M4 is a versa t ile and powerful system, su pporting an AMD Socket 939 CPU. This comput er uses Peripheral Component Interface Express (PCI Express), which improves sys tem efficiency and helps the s ystem support varied mult imedia and softwar e applications.

Troubleshooting 10 English Q: No sound comes out of the speakers. A: Check the following: • The volume may be muted. Look fo r the Volume icon o n the taskbar. If it is crossed-out, click on the icon and deselect the mute option. Yo u can also press the volume cont rol/mut e knob on your USB keyboard to toggle the mute function.
