7 G et started First steps to operating your phone SIM card information When you subscribe to a c ellular network, you receive a plug-in SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card loaded with your subscription details, such as your PIN, and available opti onal services.
Ge t started 8 Low battery indicator When the battery is low: • a warning tone sounds, • the low battery message displays, and • the empty battery icon blinks. If the battery level becomes too low, the phone automatically turns off. R echarge your battery .
Get started 9 Key Lock m ode When you press and hold [ HOLD ], the key lock feature locks the exposed keys to prevent accidental key presses fro m affecting phone operations.

46 Phonebook (Menu 2) Y ou can store phone numbers on your SIM card and in your phone’s memory . The SIM card and phone’s memory are physically separate, but they are used as a si ngle entity called Phonebook. T o access this m enu, select < Menu > in Idle mode → Phonebook .
