Call Functions 18 Adjusting the Call Volume • T o enter a missing digit press the Left or Right navigation key until the cursor is in position and enter the digit. • T o clear the whole display , press and hold the key . The Idle screen displays. 2.

Call Functions 22 Silent Mode Silent Mode Silent mode is conven ient when you wish to stop th e phone from making noise, such as in a theater or a meeting. Y ou have two options: set the phone to v ibrate or mute. T o set which of the Silent Mode options will activate: 1.
23 T o make a call while you hav e a call in progress: 1. Place the activ e call on hold usi ng the previous pr ocedures, and ent er the phone number that you wish to dial or look i t up in the Addres s Book.
Call Functions 24 Options During a Call If you are in a multi-party cal l, use the following process: 1. As each call comes in, ei th er press the key or the Accept soft left key. As you answer a cal l, the previous call is put on hold. 2. Press the Options key and choose your option.

Multimedia Messa ge The following Sett ing options are availa ble: • Sending Options : allows you to set the following se nding options: • Delivery Report : when this o p tion is e nabled, the network informs you whether or not your messa ge has been deliv ered.
Messaging 58 Memory Status Please cont act your ser vice provider for furthe r details. Memor y Status Y ou can check the amount of the memor y being used and the memory remaining for multimedia messages. The display shows the total space inc luding the used a nd free space.

Changing Y our Settings 60 Set Sound Keypad T one This menu allows you to sele ct the tone and volume wh en you press the keypad. 1. Highlight To n e to select from Off, Xylo phone, Simple, T one, or Beep. 2. Highlight Vol um e , and use the Up or Down Navigation key to in crease or decrease th e volume.
61 Extra T ones Y ou can customize additional tones for the phone. 1. T o turn a given tone on, press the ke y . A chec k mark displays in front of the opt ion. 2. T o turn a given tone off, press th e key . The check mark no longer displays in front of t he option.
Changing Y our Settings 62 Set Time & Date Gra phic Logo Y ou can select the On or Off for the Graphic Logo. Press the Select soft key or the key to save selecti on. Dialing Display In this menu, you can select the dialing font color . Choose Rainbow , Monoch rome , or Basic .

Changing Y our Settings 66 Set Phone Change PIN Code The Change PIN Code option allows you to change y o ur current PIN, provided tha t the Change PIN Code feature is e nabled. Y ou must enter the current PI N before you can specify a ne w one. Once you have entered a new PIN, you are as ked to confirm it by entering it again.

When it is unchecked , you must open the phone and press a key to answer a call, dependin g on the setting of the Anykey Ans wer option. Air plane Mode The Airplane Mode option allows you to use ma ny of your phone’ s features during a flight.

69 Network Selectio n (SIM De pendent) The Network Selection fea ture enables you to a utomaticall y or manuall y select the network used when ro aming outside o f your home area.
