Important!: Although the phone can be used while the ba ttery is ch arging, the batter y must be full y charged before first us e, otherwise you could damage the ba ttery.
17 Install the Batter y 1. Press down, and slide the battery cove r back and lift up to remove it. 2. Insert the top end of the battery into the phone housing by using the direction of the arrow printed on the ba ttery . The gold cont acts on the top of the battery should ma tch up with those on the phone.

Use your finger to lift the battery (bot tom end first) up and away from the phone. Charge the Batter y Y our phone is powered by a rechargeable standard Li-ion batter y .
19 T ravel Charger The travel charger is a c onvenient, light -weight charger that rapidly charges your phone from any 120/ 220 V AC outlet. 1. Plug the large end of the travel char ger into a standa rd 120/220 V AC wall outlet. 2. Insert the smal ler end of the travel char ger into the charger/ accesso ry connector on t he left side of the phone.

The Location Globa l Positioning Service (GPS) setting ident ifies your location to the network. 87 Lock Phone Lock Phone restricts the use of your phon e with the exceptio n of outgoing calls to 911. Lock Phone allows you to answer calls, but to place calls (e xcept to emergenc y numbers) you have to unlock the phone. 1.
