Using pr ogramme schedules pr ovided by br oadcasters, you can specify pr ogrammes you want to watch in advance so that the channel automatically changes to the selected pr ogramme channel at the specified time.

◀ ▶ English ◀ ■ Additional Settings (digital channels only) ● DTV Audio Level (MPEG / HE-AAC) : This function allows you to r educe the disparity of a voice signal (which is one of the signals r eceived during a digital TV br oadcast) to a desir ed level.
▶ ◀ ▶ English ● SPDIF Output : SPDIF (Sony Philips Digital InterFace) is used to pr ovide digital sound, r educing interfer ence going to speakers an d various di gital devices such as a DVD player . Audio Format : Y ou can select the Digital Audio output (SPDIF) format.
◀ ▶ English ◀ ● Dolby Digital Comp ( Line / RF ): This function minimizes signal disparity between a dolby digital signal and a voice signal (i.e. MPEG Audio, HE-AAC, A TV Sound). N Select Line to obtain dynamic sound, and RF to r educe the dif fer ence between loud and soft sounds at night time.
▶ ◀ ▶ English ■ Speaker Settings ● Speaker Select ( Exter nal Speaker / TV Speaker ) A sound echo may occur due to a dif fer ence in decoding speed between the main speaker and the audio r eceiver . In this case, set the TV to Exter nal Speaker .
◀ ▶ English ● Auto V olume ( Of f / Normal / Night ) T o equalize the volume level on each channel, set to Normal . Night : This mode pr ovides an impr oved sound experience compar ed to Normal mode, making almost no noise. It is useful at night.
◀ ▶ English Prefer ence Featur es ❑ Connecting to a Wir ed Network For PDP 550 Series Y ou can attach your TV to your LAN using cable in thr ee ways: ● Y ou can attach your TV to your LAN by connecting the LAN port on the back of your TV to an exter nal modem using a LAN cable.
◀ ▶ English ◀ ● Y ou can attach your TV to your LAN by connecting the LAN port on the back of your TV to a IP Shar er which is connected to an exter nal modem.
▶ ◀ ▶ English ● Depending on how your network is configur ed, you may be able to attach your TV to your LAN by connecting the LAN port on the back of your TV dir ectly to a network wall outlet using a LAN cable. See the diagram below . Note that the wall outlet is attached to a modem or r outer elsewher e in your house.
