5 EN Setting the T ime Your microwave oven has an inbuilt clock. The time can be displayed in either the 24-hour or 12-hour notation. You must set the clock: • When you first install your microwave oven • After a power failure Do not forget to reset the clock when you switch to and from summer and winter time.
6 EN Cooking / Reheating The following proc edure explains how to cook or reheat food. ALWAYS check your cooking sett ings before leaving the oven unattended. First, place the food in the centre of the turntable. Then, close the door. Never switch the microwave oven on when it is empty.
7 EN Stopping the Cooking You can stop cooking at an y time to check the food. You can cancel any setting before starting cooking by simply pressing Stop/Canc el . Adjusting the Cooking T ime You can increase the cooking time by pressing the +30s button once for each 30 seconds to be added.
8 EN Using the A uto Reheat/Cook F eature The Auto Reheat/C ook feature has five pr e-programmed cookin g time. You do not need to set either the cooking times or the power lev el. You can adjust the number of servings by pressing the Up/Dow n button.
9 EN Using the Cafeteria F eature With the Ca feteria feature, the cooking t ime is set automatically. You can adjust the number of servings by pressing the Up/Down button. First, place the food in the centre of the turntable and close the door. Use only recipients that are microwave-safe.
10 EN Using the A uto Rapid Defrost F eature The Rapid Defrost featur e enables you to defrost meat, poultr y or fish. The defrost time and power level are set automatically. Use only dishes that are microwave-safe. First, place the frozen fo od in the centre of the turntable.
11 EN Using the Deodorize F eature Use this feature after cooking odo rou s food or when there is a lot of smoke in the oven interi or. First clean the o ven interior. The deodorization time has been specified as 5 minutes. It increases by 30 seconds whenever the +30s button is pressed.
12 EN Cookware Guide To cook food in the microwave oven, the microwaves must be able to penetrate the fo od, without being reflected or absorbed by the dish used. Care must therefore be taken when choosing the cook ware. If the cookware is marked microwave-sa fe, you do not need to worry.
13 EN Cleaning Y our Micro wav e Oven The following parts o f your micr owave oven should be cleaned regularly to prevent grease and food particles from build ing up: • Inside and outside surfaces • Door and door seals • Turntable and Roller rings ALWAYS ensure that the door seals are clean and the door closes properly.
