9 FEA TURES This product has been shipped completely assembled. Carefully r emove the tool and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. Inspect the tool carefully to make sur e no breakage or damage occurred during shipping.

13 OPERA TION KEYLESS CHUCK See Figure 6. The drill has a keyless chuck to tighten or release drill bits in the chuck jaws. The arrows on the chuck indicate which dir ection to r otate the chuck body in order to LOCK (tighten) or UNLOCK (release) the drill bit.
14 Fig. 9 OPERA TION ADJUST ABLE TORQUE CLUTCH See Figure 8. This product is equipped with an adjustable tor que clutch for driving differ ent types of screws into differ ent ma- terials. The proper setting depends on the type of material and the size of screw you ar e using.

An auxiliary handle assembly is packed with the drill for ease of operation and to help prevent loss of control. The handle can be r otated 360°, and it can also be mounted on the opposite side for left hand use.
16 See Figure 13. Check the direction of rotation selector for the correct setting (forward or r everse).� Secure the material to be drilled in a vise or with clamps to keep it from turning as the drill bit rotates.� Hold the drill firmly and place the bit at the point to be drilled.

18 CHUCK REMOV AL See Figures 14 - 16. The chuck may be removed and r eplaced by a new one. Lock the swi tch trig ger by placing the dir ect ion of rota tion selector in center position. Insert a 5/16 in. or larger hex key into the chuck of the drill and tighten the chuck jaws securely .
