11 Using Advanced Featur es Setting the Sleep Timer You can set your TV to turn itself off. If you’re watching TV at night and fall asleep, the TV will turn off for you. A. Press MENU to select the Controls menu and highlight Sleep Timer. This menu is yellow.

If you have turned Closed Captioning on and it does not appear on the screen, it is not available on the channel you are watching.
