3 Salt The hardness of wat er varies from place to place . I f har d water is used in the dishwasher , deposits will form on the dishes and utensils. The appliance is equipped with a special softener that uses a salt specically designed to eliminate lime and miner als from the water .

9 Swit ching the dishwasher OFF Several minutes after the prog ramme has ended: 1. Open the door . 2. Set the ON-OFF button to OFF . 3. Remove dishes, et c. when they have cooled do wn. Note: F or the best dr ying performance, we r ecommend that you do not remo ve the contents f or at least 30 minutes.
10 To select the ‘tablets’ func tion: 1. Open the door . 2. Select the programme and then press the additional options button (F ig.2-19) until the tablets indicator [ ] lights. 3. Pr ess the Star t/Reset button (F ig.2-20) and close the door . T he dishwasher will start immediately .
