QSC26404 User ’ s Manual 55 Bit R ate T ype: The DVR will use t he fixed bit rate to com press i ma ge. The bit rate size is defi ned in “ Bi t Rate ” option. With this option we can calculate t he recorded file si ze and network bandwidth that we need.
QSC26404 User ’ s Manual 56 S tep 3: Record type Fo r “ R ec T ype ” , the options are : All T ime, Motion D etect, A la rm, Motion|Alar m, and Motion&Alarm , command. For all da y record mode, only one record type can be s elected. S tep 4: Copy to other days Y ou can repeat st ep 2 and step 3 to setup for other days.

QSC26404 User ’ s Manual 77 Chapter 7: Fi rmware Upgrade The DVR firmware is stored in FL A SH ROM . Y ou can use the DVR upgr ade function t o write the fir mware file (digic ap) into FL ASH. There are two cases where you need to upgr ade DVR firm ware.
