1-1 1 Before Y ou Begin Overview The MGC W e b Server Manager app lication is the user interface to the MGC W e b Server . It allows t he user to communicat e via the W eb Server with th e MCUs. It provides d atabase access vi a the W eb pages and man ages the W eb site that cont ains the reservat ion pages.

This step is mandat ory in order to run conferenc es, and it can be performed only after the MGC W eb Server Manager i s connected to t he MGC W eb Server .

One of the optio ns to overcome t his prob lem may be to change the co mmunication pa rameters between t he MCUs and the W eb Server .

Chapter 4 - Options Settings 4-2 Auto Cascade The Auto Cascade feature en ables auto mati c cascading of conferenc es. Both audio onl y and vide o confere nces can be cascaded. The automatic ca scading of conferen ces is beneficial in distribute d MCU environment, when MCUs a re instal led i n d if ferent locations.
4-3 • If none of the conferences has a chairperso n, then the conference that is runni ng on the MCU whi ch is hi ghest in the MCUs table in the W eb Server Manager wil l be assigned as t he master conference.
Chapter 4 - Options Settings 4-4 Auto Cascading Guidelines • T o enable the Auto Cascading, the Conference Numeric ID routing mode is required, therefore the system.cfg flag i n the GREET AND GUIDE/ IVR sec tio n - QU ICK_LOGIN_VIA_ENTR Y_QUE UE must be set to NO on all MCUs.
