3 Chapter 3 Network Service Configurations Configuring and monitoring your IP Phone from web browser The IP Phone integrate s a web-based graphical user interface that can cover mo st configurations and machine st atu s monitoring. Via st andard, web browser , you can configu re and check machine status from anywhe re around the world.
When users login the web p age, users can see the IP Phone system information like firmware version, company…etc in this main page. IP Phone main page LAN IP address configuration vi a web configuration interface Execute your web browse r, and insert the IP address ( default: 192 .

4 Chapter 4 V oIP IP Phone Configurations Phone Book settings IP Phone can set up 140 records of Phone Book. User can make calls via Phone Book feature of IP Phone. Field Description Phone Book Page The default is Page 1. It can select Page1 ~ Page 14 to look round Phone Book record s.
If you need to add a phone number into the Phone Book list, you need to input the positio n, the name, and the phone number (by URL type). When you finished a new phone list, just click the “Add Phone” button. If you want to delete a phone number , you can sele ct the phone number you want to delete then click “Delete Selected” button.

Call Forward This page defines Call Forward function. Y ou can se tup the phone numbe r you want to forward in this page. There are three type of Forward mode. Y ou can choose All Forward, Busy Forward, and No Answer Forward by click the icon. All Forward : All incoming call will forwa rd to the number you chosen.
Volume Setting This page defines the Han dset V olume, Ringer V olume, and the Handset Gain. When you finished the setting, please click the Submit button. Handset V olume is to set the volume for you can hear from the handset.(Handfree mode) Speaker V olume is to set the volume for you can hear from the speaker .
Ringer Setting This page defines the u se r can set the tinkle of bel ls whe n someone ring your IP Phone. If want to set ringer , it need to enable Ri nger function and select the Ringer T ype you wanted . There are four Ringer T ypes can b e chosen.
Dial Plan Settings This page defines the Dial Plan Setting function. Th is function is wh en you input the pho ne number by the keypad but you don’t need to pre s s “#”. After time out the system will dial directly . 23 Field Description Drop Prefix The rule of add or replace code.

Call waiting Settings When you are talkin g with other people, Y ou can choo se If you want to hear the notice when there is a new coming call. If the call waiting function is On, if there is a new incomeing call , you will hear the call waiting notice in your current call.
LAN Settings This page defines the LA N setting in this page. LAN Mode: The default is Bridge mode, and it also provides NA T mode. Bridge: When set as is m ode, the LAN and PC ports are in the same netwo rk segment.
PC Settings This page defines the PC setting in this p age. IP: The IP address of PC port. (In the Bridge mode, the Default IP : 192.168.123 .1) Mask: The sub net address. ( Default : 255.255.255.0) MAC: The MAC of PC port DHCP Serv er: It will allot the IP address automati cally when enabke this function.
DDNS Settings This page defines the DDNS setting in this p age. Y ou need to have the DDNS account and input the informations properly . Y ou can have a DDNS acc ount with a public IP address then others can call you via the DDNS account. But now most of the V o IP appl ications are work with a SIP Proxy Server .
VLAN Settings This page defines the VLA N setting in this page. This function n eed s to co-operate with network devices which have VLAN function. VLAN Packet s: If setup a s On, it could receive VLA N messages. VID (802.1Q/T AG): Dispose VLAN ID is add a T ag header after realize enable th e VLAN functi on.
Virtual Server This page def ines the Virtual Server setti ng in this page. Y ou could define 24 virtual service information in this page. When you finishe d the se tting, please cli ck the Submit button. Virtual Serv er Page: There are total p age1 to page 3.
PPTP Settings This page defines the PPT P setting in this page. Y ou could setup the PPTP Server conne ctio n information. When you finished the se tting, please click the Su bmit button.
L Note : IP Phone can registe r to three different SIP Prox ies at the same time. It can receive any one of different SIP accounts inco ming call, and it can switch to any one SIP account s for making calls through input the switch code.
Codec Settings This page defines the Cod ec priority , RTP packet length, and V AD function in this page. Y ou need to follow the ISP suggestion to setup these items. When you finished the setting, please click the Submit button. Codec ID Setting This page defines the Cod ec ID.
DTMF Settings This page def ines the DTMF parameters. Yyou can setup the InBand DTMF , 2833 Out-Band DTMF and Send DTMF SIP Info Enable/Disable in this p age. T o change this setting, please followin g your ISP information. When you finished the se tting, please click the Su bmit button.
Other Settings This page defines the Hold by RFC, V oice/SIP Qo S and other settings in this page. T o change these settings please following your ISP information. When you finished the setting, please click the Submit button. Hold by RFC: The default is disa ble, and to st art up communication hold back function (RFC definition).
Auto Configuration This page def ines the Auto Configuration (Auto Provision) setting. IP Phone support s TFTP , FTP , HTTP function in total. MAC CIone Setting This page defines the MA C Clone Enable/Disable. This function will copy the MAC address from NIC (Network Interface Card ) which pl aced in PC to LAN p ort of IP Phone.
Please refer to the following operate pro cedures fo r more underst andings to carry out the MAC Clone function. 1. Please login IP Phone and browse to “ Network -> LAN Set tings ” page. T o switch the LAN mo de to NA T mode then press Save&Reboot button to save the settings and reboot machine.
Tone Settings This page defines the T one settings. This function ca n setup the re lated parameters of Dial T one, Ring Back T on e, Busy T one, Error T one and Insert T one. When you finished the setting, plea se click the Submit button. Advanced Settings This page defines the a dva nced functions.
System Authority In System Authority you can cha nge you r login password. Save & Reboot In Save & Reboot you can save the changes you have done. If you want to use new setting in the IP Phone, you have to click the Save button. Af te r you click the Save button, the IP Phone will automatically restart and the new setting will ef fect.
Firmware Upgrade In Firmware Upgrade function you can update n ew firm ware via HTTP or TFTP method s in this p age. Y ou can ugrade the firmware by the following step s: Select the upgrade method and the firmware co de type, AP or DSP code.
Field Descriptions Up date via There are TFTP/ FTP and HTTP three ways to provide the auto upgrade function. TFTP Serv er Input the TFTP Server add ress, and it co uld input the IP or Domain Name form. TFTP Path Set up the file path. HTTP Serv er Input the HTTP Server address, and it could input the IP or Domain Name form.

Appendix A V oice communications There are several ways to make call s to desired dest ination in IP Phone. In this section, we’ll lead you step by step to esta blish your first voice communi cati on via keypad and web browsers operat ions.
