Y ou may need to adjust them so that they do not touch any printed area of the exiting material. Note that when you adjust the rollers, you ar e also moving printheads 1 and 6 because they are attached.

T o keep it in top condition, you should schedule regular cleaning of the feed r ollers, exit rollers and lower guide. • Clean the printhead cartridge and cover with a lint-free cloth and distilled water only .

Paper fiber , dust and dried ink can build up on the printhead. T o clean the printhead: 1. Use a lint-fr ee towel with no chemical additives to clean the printhead.

Release the separator locking lever on the left side of the feeder , as shown below . 3. Push down the black tab on the separator to expose the screw , as shown below .

7 Maintenance 7-10 SV60970-OG Rev . A Replacing the Feed Rollers T o replace the feed r ollers: 1. Befor e removing the feed roller access plate, unplug the power to the printer . 2. Using a Phillips scr ewdriver , remove the four scr ews from the feed roller access plate.

Rotate the shaft and r eplace the feed roller on the other side with buttonhead screws. See below . 10. Replace the feed r oller access plate and fasten with the four scr ews.

Make sure clips ar e hooked, printer and screws ar e seated, and computer is connected pr operly .
