2 GENERAL INFORMATION - TECHNICAL DATA GENERAL INFORMATION This co ee machine is suitable for preparing espresso co ee using co ee beans and is equipped with a device to dispense steam and hot wat er . The machine is designed for domestic use and not suitable for heavy or professional use.

4 1 4 7 8 5 6 3 2 STARTING THE MACHINE Before turning on the machine, mak e sure that the po wer button is set to "0" . Lift the right outer lid and r emove the inner lid. Remove the w ater tank using the handle . Press the pow er button to the "I" position to turn the machine on.

It also allows you t o adjust the parameters of the beverages to the typical parameters of the country where the machine is used. This is why some languages ar e di erentiat ed also by country .

After installation, go to the wa ter lter initialization programme (see the "MA CHINE MENU" , page 27).
8 2 1 ADJUSTMENTS COFFEE STRENGTH (SBS) The SBS dial has been carefully designed t o give your co ee the fullness and intensity you desir e. Simply turn the dial and se t the co ee from mild int ensity to strong intensity , according t o your own taste.

10 1 2 3 4 DISPENSING SPOUT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT Before brewing a pr oduc t, and accor ding to the kind of cup , adjust the height of the dispensing spout. T o adjust, manually mov e the dispensing spout as shown in the pic ture. Note: In some cases the dispensing spout can be removed to allow the use of very large containers.
11 A STAND-BY MODE The machine is designed for energy sa ving. After 30 minutes of inactivity , the machine goes into stand-by mode, the boiler is no longer heated and all the devices turn o . Po wer consumption is r educed to a minimum. Press any butt on to turn the machine on again.

26 MILK QUANTITY W A TER QUANTITY This section allows you to pr ogram the quantity of milk for each selec ted beverage . The strip allows you t o determine exactly the quantity of milk to be dispensed. This section allows you to pr ogram the quantity of water to be dispensed when pr essing the hot water butt on.
27 The machine allows y ou to customize the operation settings . MACHINE MENU Press the MENU butt on to access the machine main menu. Select the menu by pressing the ( ) button.
