When [Custom] is selected, select [Setting] and set the noise r eduction level according to the IS O sensitivity. Choose the part of t he sensor to use for measuri ng brightness and determining expo sure.

4 Playba ck 65 Connect to an AV device, such as a TV, equipped with an HDMI terminal to display Live View i mages while shooting or to play back images in playback mode. Make sure to have a commerc ial ly available HDMI cable equipped with an HDMI ter minal (type D).

6 Appendix 89 Dust Alert is the function that de tects dust adhering to the CMOS se nsor and visually displays the location of the dust. Make sure that the camera is in the following status. • Attach a DA, DA L, FA J lens or a D FA, FA or F lens that has an 9 position, and set the apert ure ring to the 9 position.
