C2462M-E (3/0 9) 9 IN-CEILING INSTALLATION: SUSPENDED CEILING 1. Remove the ceiling tile from the ceiling (refer to Figure 4 ). 2. Cut a 4-inch diameter h ole in the ceiling tile. 3. Remove the surface mount ring from the back box (refer to Figure 5 on page 10 ): a.

C2462M-E (3/0 9) 11 IN-CEILING INSTALLATION: FIXED CEILING OR WALL 1. Cut a 4-inch diameter h ole in the ceiling/wall (refer to Figure 6 on p age 11 ). 2. Remove the surface mount ring from the back box (refer to Figure 5 on page 10 ). a. Place your fingers on the circular marks loca ted on the s ides of the surface mount ring.
12 C2462M-E (3/09) SURFACE INSTALLATION: 4S STANDARD ELECTRICAL BOX 1. Attach the adapter ring to the 4S box with tw o 8-32 x 1.00-inch screws (supplied; refer to Figure 7 ). 2. Connect the video cable and wires. BNC: Connect the BNC connector from the Camclosure to a mating BNC connector .

C2462M-E (3/0 9) 15 Camera Adjustments SWITCH SETTINGS FIXED FOCAL LENGTH LENS WITHOUT AUTO IRIS Refer to the switch drawing. The switch is located n ext to the lens.

C2462M-E (3/0 9) 17 V ERTICAL PHASE ADJUSTMENT (24 V ac Operation Only) When using more than one camera power supply, a brief vertical roll may occur on the monitor when a camera view is switched. T o elim inate vertica l roll, reverse the 24 V AC connections on one camera.
18 C2462M-E (3/09) Install Liner and Bubble DOME LINER INSTALLATION If the unit is supplied with a dome liner , reinstall th e liner be fore installing the dome bubble (refer to Figure 13 ): 1. Align the studs located on the camera module with the clips on the liner .
C2462M-E (3/0 9) 19 DOME BUBBLE INSTALLATION T o install the d ome bubble (refer to Figure 14 ): 1. Select the bubble (clear or smoked). 2. Align the standoffs of the bubble with the slots of the back box. Figure 14. Installing the Dome Bubble 3. T urn the bubble clockwise until it locks in place.
20 C2462M-E (3/09) Service Connector An optional 4-foot service/monitor cable, part numb er ICS090-SC, is available for on- site setup and adjustments. T o use the cable, simply plug one end of the cable directly into the service connector of the ICS090, and then connect the other end to any st andard BNC (VIDEO IN) connector on a monitor .
