6 C2462M-D (3/08) Description The ICS090 Series Camclosure ® integrated camera system integrates a camera and lens package in a small, discreet dome. The system is easy to install and can be mounted or recessed to the surface of a ceiling or wall.
C2462M-D (3/08) 7 Remove the Dome Bubble T urn the dome bubble counterclockwise and lift (refer to Figure 1). Place the b ubble on a nonabrasive surface. If the unit is supplied with a dome liner , remove the li ner b efore installing the un it. T o re move the liner , gently lift it from the unit.
8 C2462M-D (3/08) Install the Back Box The installation methods for the ICS090 Series include the following options: • Mount to the surface of a ceiling or wall • Install in a suspended ceiling .
C2462M-D (3/08) 9 4. Use the 6-32 toggle bolts (not supplied) to at tach the surfa ce mount ring and back box to the mounting surface, refer to Figure 2. NOTE: For a concrete ceiling/wall installation, use 8-32 mounting hardware (not suppl ie d), refer to Figure 3.
10 C2462M-D (3/08) IN-CEILING INSTALLATION: SUSPENDED CEILING Refer to Figure 4 and complete the following steps. 1. Remove the ceiling tile from the ceiling. 2. Cut a 4-inch diameter h ole in the ceiling tile. 3. Remove the surface mount ring from the back box.

How to Remove Surfac e Mount Ring from Back Box AC operation only: If you are wiring more than one ICS090 Camclosure to the same transformer , connect one side of the transformer to the red wire on all units, and then connect the other side of the transformer to the black wire on all units.
12 C2462M-D (3/08) IN-CEILING INSTALLATION: FIXED CEILING/W ALL Refer to Figure 6 and complete the following steps. 1. Cut a 4-inch diameter h ole in the ceiling/wall. 2. Remove the surface mount ring from the back box. Refer to Figure 5 and complete the following steps: a.
C2462M-D (3/08) 13 INSTALLATION TO THE SURF ACE OF A 4S STANDARD ELECTRICAL BOX Refer to Figure 7 and complete the following steps. 1. Attach the adapter ring to the 4S box with the two 8-32 x 1.00-inch screws (s upplied). 2. Connect the video cable/wires.
14 C2462M-D (3/08) INSTALLATION IN A 4S DEEP ELECTRICAL BOX Refer to Figure 8 and complete the following steps. 1. Remove the surface mount ring from the back box. Refer to Figure 5 and complete the following steps: a. Place your fingers on the circular marks loca ted on the sides of the surface mount ring.

16 C2462M-D (3/08) Camera Adjustments SWITCH SETTINGS SWITCH SETTINGS FOR FIXED FOCAL LENGTH LENS WITHOUT AUTO IRIS Refer to the switch drawing. The switch is located n ext to the lens.
C2462M-D (3/08) 17 V ERTICAL PHASE ADJUSTMENT (24 V AC OPERATION ONLY) When using more than one camera power supply, a brief vertical roll may occur on the monitor when a camera view is switched. T o elim inate vertical roll, reverse the 24 V AC connections on one camera.
18 C2462M-D (3/08) Reinstall the Dome Bubble DOME LINER INSTALLATION If the unit is supplied with a dome liner , reinsta ll t he liner before installing the dome bubb le. T o install the liner , refer to Figure 11 comp lete the following steps: 1. Align the studs located on the camera module with the clips on the liner .
C2462M-D (3/08) 19 DOME BUBBLE INSTALLATION T o insta ll the dome bubble refer t o Figure 12 and complete the fo llowing steps: 1. Select the bubble (clear or smoked). 2. Align the standoffs of the bubble with the slots of the back box. 3. T urn the bubble clockwise, until it locks in place.
20 C2462M-D (3/08) Service Connector An optional 4-foot service/monitor cable, part numb er ICS090-SC, is available for on- site setup and adjustments. T o use the cable simply plug one end of the cable directly into the service connector of the ICS090, and then connect the other end to any st andard BNC (VIDEO IN) connector on a monitor .
