1. Product introduction 1.1 Welcome! Thank you for purchasing the ASUS ® VW195/VW225 Series LCD monitor! The latest widescreen LCD monitor from ASUS provides a crisper , broader , and brighter display , plus a host of features that enhance your viewing experience.
1.3 Monitor introduction 1.3.1 Front view Base 1. Button: • Use this hotkey to switch from ve video preset modes (Game Mode, Night View Mode, Scenery Mode, Standard Mode, Theater Mode) with SPLENDID™ Video Enhancement T echnology . • Exit the OSD menu or go back to the previous menu as the OSD menu is active.

2. Setup 2.1 Assembling the monitor base T o assemble the monitor base: 1. Have the front of the monitor face down on a table. 2. Connect the base with the arm according to the below drawing. A click shows that the base has been connected successfully .
2.3 Detaching the arm/base (for VESA wall mount) The detachable arm/base of the VW195/VW225 Series LCD monitor is specially designed for VESA wall mount. T o detach the arm/base: 1. Have the front of the monitor face down on a table. 2. Remove the rubbers in the four screw holes (Figure 1).
2.4 Connecting the cables 1. Connect the cables as the following instructions: • T o connect the audio cable: connect one end of the audio cable to the monitor ’s Audio-in port, the other end to the computer's audio-out port.
3. General Instruction 3.1 OSD (On-Screen Display) menu 3.1.1 How to recongure 1. Press the MENU button to activate the OSD menu. 2. Press and to navigate through the functions. Highlight and activate the desired function by pressing the MENU button.
3. Color Select the image color you like from this function. • Color T emp.: contains ve color modes including Cool, Normal, W arm, sRGB, and User mode.
4. Input Select In this function, you can select either VGA or DVI input source. (Only for some models) 5. System Setup Allow you to adjust the system.
