From this screen y ou can configure the modem , access tools that are helpful for debugg ing purposes, obtain the status of the modem, and view the online help.

This will bring up the modem setup screen. Leave t he default val ue if you are uns ure or the DSL/ ISP did not p rovide this in formation.

Under LAN Se tup, select Firewall/NAT Services. De select the “E nable Firewall and NAT Se rvices” butt on to disa ble the firewa ll and NAT services for all WAN connections.

To add rules, define the source MAC address, destinati on MAC address, and frame type with desired filteri ng type (Allow or Deny), and click on the Add button.

It should only be enabl ed if NAT is also enabled. To enable Multicasting , click on Advanced from the Home screen, then select Muliticast.

You should get some kind of information fro m you r ISP which states that DSL service is installed. You can usually tell if the service is installed by listening to th e phone line; you will hear a high-pitched noi se.
