5 RQT9088 HDD (Hard disk drive) handling care The HDD is a high precision recording instrument and because of its long recording capability and high speed operation it i s a very s pecial device that is easily susceptib le to damage. As a basic rule, sav e import ant content to a disc as bac kup.

84 RQT9088 Glossary Bitstream This is the digital f or m of multi-channel audio data (e.g., 5.1 channel) before it is decoded into its various chan nels. CPRM (Con tent Protection for Recordab le Media) CPRM is technology used to protect broadcasts that are allowed to be recorded on ly once.
