Operating Inst ructions 12 1.5 Installing This Software It is recommended that you create an administrator account user on your PC to securely manage reco rded images. After loggi ng in as the set user, install this software . 1. Inser t the CD-ROM to the CD-ROM drive.

Operating Instruction s 23 2 Software Operation 2.1 Selecting a Folder to Sa ve Images This software records camera images to the ha rd disk on your PC . The folder can be changed. After the camera is registered, desti nation folders are automatically created in the selected folder .
Operating Inst ructions 24 1. Star t this software and select [T oo ls] [Preferences] [Destination Folder] on the menu bar . • The destination folder page is displa yed.
Operating Instruction s 25 2. Click [Bro wse...]. • The selecting folder page is displa yed. 3. Select the destination, and click [OK] . • Create the folder in adv ance. 4. Set the hard disk free space. • Set enough capacity (1 00 MB or great er) as y our destination folder to pre vent the system from getting unstab le.

Operating Inst ructions 28 2.3 Using a Pr o xy Server Y ou need to set the f ollowing settings to monitor the camera on the Inter net you using a proxy server . (Y ou cannot con nect to the camera without the proxy settings.) If you do not use a pro xy server , this setting is not required.

Operating Inst ructions 50 Zooming in and out (Cameras av ailable f or the zooming in and out functi on) Clicking tele b utton zooms in (maximum 42x *1 ), clic king wide button zooms out. The camera zooms in or out at a regular rate. *1 Optical zoom is 21x and digital zoom is 2x.

If you select multiple cameras, select them while pressing [Ctrl] ke y on the ke yboard. The image of the selected camera is display ed on the monitor ing page.
