7 Setting the gain In places which are too dark, increase the gain level, and in places which are too bright, reduce the gain level. When the gain is increased, the noise level also increases. 1. Press the GAIN button. The current gain setting appears.

24 Setting the focusing direction Set the focusing operation of the lens in response to the operation of the FOCUS dial. 1. Press the MENU button. 2. Open FOCUS DIRECTION menu [29]. 3. T urn the F1 dial to display the camera number for which to configure the setting.
25 Setting the movement ranges (limiter function) of a remote camera Depending on the installation location, there may be an obstruction in a movement range of a remote camera, and the remote camera may come into contact with that obstruction when the pan or tilt operation is performed.
26 Returning a remote cameras to its home position Position the remote camera in the vertical and horizontal directions so that its shooting direction becomes forward (home position). z The position stored as the home position on the remote camera cannot be changed.

37 Initializing a memory card (INIT) Before using a memory card with the unit, be sure to initialize the memory card with the unit. When the memory card is initialized, the memory card is formatted (in compliance with SD standards) and dedicated directories are created.
38 Loading data from a memory card (LOAD) 1. Press one of the camera selection buttons [CAMERA SELECT/GROUP SELECT] to select a remote camera. 2. Press the MENU button to turn on its indicator .
39 T ally settings The unit can receive the tally information of the switcher and other external devices from the T ALL Y/GPI connector (T ALL Y input) on the rear panel and two network lines.
40 Checking alarm information In the event of an error with the power supply of the unit or a remote camera included in the selected camera group, the ALARM indicator on the unit turns on and the output of the GPI OUT connector (GPI OUT 5) becomes On.
