Section 1A: Device Setup 15 Device Setup Charging the Battery The battery comes with a suffic ient charge to c omplete the setup process and activ ate y our phone. After activa tion, we recommend charging your device for three and a half hours to give it a full char ge.

Section 1C: Synchronizing 35 Synchr onizing S ynchronizing Inf ormat ion—The Basics Synchr onizing means that information tha t is enter ed or updated in one place ( your devi ce or your c omputer) is au tomatically upd ated in the other , so there’ s no need to enter t he informa tion twice.

W ith use, y ou can find y our own f av orite wa y to scr oll, highlight, and select menu items.

Here are some genera l scrolling tips that apply to most applica tions: 䢇 Press Right , Left , Up , and Down on the 5-way to mov e to the next field, button, or action in that direction.
