Doing so may damage the motherboard. 1.5.2 Placement direction When installing the motherboard, make sur e that you place it into the chassis in t he correct orientation. The edge with external ports goes to the rear part of t he chassis as indicated in the image below .

2-2 Chapter 2: BIOS Information 2 . 1 M a n ag i n g a n d U pd a ti n g Y o ur B I O S The following utilities allow you to manage and update the motherboard Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) setup. 1. AFUDOS (Updates the BIOS in DOS mode using a bootable oppy disk.

Y ou can update a corrupted BIOS le using the motherboard support CD or the oppy disk that contains the updated BIOS le.
