7 KNOW Y OUR UNIT Holder Use this holder when attaching the unit to your belt or the top of your pants. 1) Attach the main unit to the holder . 2) Fasten the holder clip to your pants.
8 AEROBIC STEP FUNCTION This Pocket Pedometer counts all steps and separately counts aerobic steps, which are dened as: • W alking more than 60 steps per minute • Continuously w alking for more than 10 minutes The pedometer separately displays both total steps and aerobic steps.
9 STRIDE LENGTH MEASUREMENT Measure your stride length before beginning to set the pedometer . How to measure y our stride length 1. W alk 10 st eps w ith yo ur no rma l s tri de as il lus tra te d b elo w . 2. Measure the distance from ST AR T to END in inches.
10 BA T TERY INST ALLA TION 1. Remov e the Screw on the Battery Co ver located on the back of the main unit. Use the supplied screwdriver or use a commercially available small screwdriver to remove the screw on the battery cover . 2. Open the Battery Cov er .
11 BA T TERY REPLA CEMENT When the battery is removed from the unit, the settings and all data stored in the memory will be erased. Be sure to write important memory data in a notebook.
12 SET TING THE TIME Setting range: 12:00 AM-11:59 PM 1. Install the battery . (Refer to “Battery Installation” on page 10) The hour ashes on the display . 2. Press the MEMO/ ▲ Button to adv ance by increments of one hour . NO TE: Press the MODE Button to return the hour to 12AM.

14 SET TING THE WEIGHT Setting range: 70 to 300 lb. The weight ashes on the display . 1. Press the MEMO/ ▲ Button to adv ance by increments of 1 lb . Press and hold the button to advance weight in 10 lb increments. NO TE: Press the MODE Button to return the weight to 88.
15 SET TING THE STRIDE LENGTH Setting range: 1'00'' to 4'00'' feet The stride length ashes on the display . 1. Press the MEMO/ ▲ Button to adv ance by increments of 1 inch. Press and hold the button to advance the stride in 4 inches increments.
16 A T T A CHING THE PEDOMETER The unit ma y be placed in the upper front pocket of your clothing , in the front pocket of y our pants, in a bag , or attached to your belt or pants. Place the unit in y our pocket. Do not place the unit in the back pocket to prevent sitting on it.
17 A T T A CHING THE PEDOMETER The unit ma y not count steps corr ectly in the following conditions: 1. T he memory is displayed or the unit is being set. 2. T he unit is not positioned correctly . • When the front of the main unit is placed in the angle of less than 60° (shown to the right) or horizontal to the ground.

19 USING THE MEMORY FUNCTION This unit can store up to seven days of data for the number of steps, number of aerobic steps, calories and distance. The data is stored starting with the oldest day . The current day data is automatically stored in memory when the time reaches 12:00AM.
20 USING THE SY STEM RESET FUNCTION Use the SY STEM RESET function in the following cases: • When the battery is replaced • When you want to delete the memory • When the display becomes unrecognizable 1. Press the SY STEM RESET Button on the back of the main unit with a thin stick that is not easily breakable.
21 CARE AND MAINTENANCE T o keep your pedometer in the best condition and pr otect the unit from damage follow the dir ections listed below: Clean the unit with a soft dry cloth. Do not use any abrasive or volatile cleaners. Do not immerse the unit or any of the componen ts in water .
22 TROUBLESHOO TING TIPS Problem Cause Solution The Low Battery Indicator blinks. The battery is low or worn. Replace the battery with a new one (CR2032). Nothing is displayed. The polarities of battery (+ and -) are aligned in the wrong directions. Insert the battery in correct alignment.
