Getting Start ed Char ging the Batt ery Connect the po wer adapter fr om the wall plug t o the T ablet as shown. It is r ecommended to fully charge the ba ttery bef or e first use .
Po wer ON & Unlock Scr een Pres s and hold the POWER butt on on the side for about 3 seconds until the logo scr een appears, then release . The tablet will ev entually display the lock ed Start-Up screen. Slide the “Lock” ic on to the right t o unlock.
Basic Oper ation Unlocking the T ablet The lock scr een is the starting point when y ou po w er on y our tablet. T o unlock, tap the lock icon then dr ag your finger t o unlock. Home Scr een and Managing Y our Apps The Home scr een is where all of the applications ar e found on your tablet.

Setting Up Y our T ablet Connecting t o Wi-Fi T o connect t o the internet, use email, or do wnload music and videos, you mus t connect the tablet via a broadband W i-Fi network and wir eless rout er that supports Wi-Fi 80 2. 11b/ g/ n. Know the name of y our network (SSID ) and passw ord to mak e certain y our network c onnection is secur e.
T urn on the Wi-Fi setting fr om OFF to ON by sliding the s witch to the right. T he tablet will scan for a vailable Wi-Fi netw orks within range of y our current location. Secur ed networks will ha ve a Lock ic on sho wn ne xt to the wireles s symbol.
Set Dat e & T ime Go to Settings > S yst em > Dat e & time Aut omatically set dat e & time when connect ed to the internet. Otherwise, y ou can manually set date , time, time z one, 12 or 24 hour f ormat, and dat e format.
