Remove the second SIM card Charge the battery Your battery has been partially charged at the factory, but y ou may need to re charge it before you can switch on your phone for the first time. If the phon e indicates a low charge, do the following: 1 Connect the charger to a wall o utlet.
If the battery is completel y discharged, it may take several minutes before the charging indicator is displayed or before any call s can be made. If the battery has not been used for a long time, to begin charging, yo u may need to connect the charger, then disconnect and reconnect it.
Important: Do not remo ve the memory card when an application is using it. Doing so may dam age the memory card and the device and corrupt data stored on the card. You can remove or replace the memory card wi thout switching th e phone off. Remove the memory card Push the card in, until it is released, and pull the card out.
Connect a headset Do not connect products that create an outp ut signal, as this may damage the device. Do not conne ct any voltage source to the Nokia AV co nnector. If you co nnect an external device or headset, other than those approved by Nokia for use with this device, to the Nokia AV connector, pay special attention to volum e levels.
• Reboot your phone. Switch off the phone, and remove the battery. After about a minute, replace the battery, and switch on the phon e. • Update your phone software • Restore the original factory settings If your issue remains unsolved, cont act Nokia for repair o ptions.
Lock the keys T o a v o i d a c c i d e n t a l l y m a k i n g a c a l l w h e n y o u r p h o n e i s i n y o u r p o c k e t o r b a g , l o c k t h e keys. Select Menu , and then press * . Insert a space Press the space key. Copy or cut text Press and hold the shift key, and scroll to highlight a word, phrase, or section of text. Press and hold the ctrl key, and then press C (copy) or X (cut). Paste text Go to the desired locatio n, press and hold the ctrl key, and then press V .
5 To enter a phone number or mail address manually, select Number or mail . Enter a phone number, or select Mail , and enter a m ail address. To select a recipient or a contact group, select Contacts or Contact groups . 6 Select Send . If prompted, select the SIM card to use.
Retrieve a multim edia message Modify settings for multimedia message retrieval 1S e l e c t Menu > Messaging > More > Message settings > Mu ltimedia messages . 2S e l e c t SIM1 or SIM2 . The multimedia message settings apply to both SIM ca rds.
