REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM LOCK DOORS Press the button to lock all doors. UNLOCK DOORS Press the button once to unlock the driver’s door only . Press the button again within 5 seconds to unlock all doors. RELEASING TRUNK LID Press and hold the trunk release button for longer than 0.
Mist (MIST) – Lift the lever up for one sweep of the front wipers. CRUISE CONTROL (if so equipped) 䡲 T o activate the cruise control, push the ON·OFF switch. The indicator light in the instrument panel will illuminate. 䡲 T o set cruising speed, accelerate the vehicle to the desired speed, push the COAST/SET switch and release it.
AUTO CLIMATE CONTROL AUT O MODE T urn both the fan speed control dial and the air flow control dial to the AUT O positions . Then turn the temperature control dial to the desired temperature. This will allow the fan speed, air flow distribution and temperature to be automatically maintained.
DEFROSTING/DEFOGGING REAR WINDOW AND OUTSIDE HEA TED MIRROR Push the rear window defroster switch on. Push the switch again to manually turn the defroster off. This function automatically turns off in approximately 15 minutes. A/C ON/OFF BUTT ON Press the A/C button to manually turn the A/C on or off.
FM/AM/XM 姞 * RADIO WITH CD CHANGER (if so equipped) LOAD BUTT ON 䡲 LOAD A SINGLE DISC - Press the button for less than 1.5 seconds. Select the loading slot by pressing one of the CD insert select button ( 1 - 6 ) , then insert the CD. 䡲 LOAD UP T O 6 DISCS - Press and hold the button for more than 1.
AUDIO BUTT ON T o adjust the Bass, T reble, Fade, Balance, and Audio Pilot, press the AUDIO button until the desired mode appears in the display . Then press the TUNE/REW/FF button to adjust to the desired level.
FM/AM/XM 姞 RADIO WITH CD CHANGER (if so equipped) 䡲 Press and hold the RPT button for approximately 2 seconds until the clock display starts to flash. 䡲 Press the SEEK/TRACK button to adjust the hours. 䡲 Press the TUNE/REW/FF button to adjust the minutes.
WHEN SHIFTING DOWN Move the shift selector lever to the – (down) side. (Shifts to lower range.) 䡲 In manual shift mode, the transmission automatically shifts down to M1 (first) before the vehicle comes to a stop. When accelerating again, it is necessary to shift to the desired range.
T RACTION CONTROL SYSTEM (TCS) OFF SWITCH (if so equipped) The vehicle should be driven with the T raction Control System (T CS) on for most driving conditions. T CS reduces the engine output to reduce wheel spin. The engine speed will be reduced even if the accelerator is depressed to the floor.
SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT AND CHIME 䡲 The light and chime remind you to fasten your seat belts. The light illuminates whenever the ignition key is turned to the ON or ST ART position and remains illuminated until the driver’s seat belt is fastened.
POWER WINDOWS The power windows operate when the ignition key is in the ON position, and for about 45 seconds after the ignition key is turned to the OFF position. AUTOMATIC ADJUSTING FUNCTION: The front door power windows have an automatic adjusting function.
SOFT T OP OPERATION Before opening or closing your soft top, refer to the Owner’s Manual for detailed W arnings and Cautions regarding soft top operation. Open the top: 1. Make sure the area is clear of ob- structions and that there is at least 6 feet of clearance above the vehicle.
HOMELINK 姞 UNIVERSAL T RANSCEIVER (if so equipped) SYSTEM OPERATING TIPS 䡲 Garage doors, electrical gates, entry doors, etc. will be activated during programming. T o avoid injury, make sure that people and objects are clear of all doors or gates during programming.
7. Quickly within 30 seconds of pressing and releasing the garage door opener program button, firmly press and release the HomeLink 姞 button you’ve just pro- grammed. Press and release the HomeLink 姞 button up to three times to complete the training.

CANCEL BUTT ON 䡲 Press the CANCEL button to return to the map screen or cancel the route that has already been set. SWITCHING THE MAP VIEW 䡲 Press the MAP button . The current loca- tion map screen is displayed. 䡲 Press the ENTER button. 䡲 Highlight the “Map View” key and press the ENTER button.
