19 Charging the Battery First Steps 4 Plug the Cha rging AC Ad apter in to an elec trica l outlet. • The camera’ s power-on lamp slowly blinks orange to indicate that the ba ttery is c harging. • About three hour s and 30 minutes are required to charge a fu lly exhausted batte ry.
20 Charging the Battery First Steps B Notes on Charging AC Adapter • Do not use the Charging AC Adapter EH-68P with any device that is not supported. • Be s ure to read and foll ow the w arni ngs an d cauti ons o f “For Y o ur Safe ty” ( A ii) thoroughly before using the EH-68P .
21 Charging the Battery First Steps T urning On and Off the Camera Remove the lens cap befor e turning on the camera. Press the power switch to turn on the camera. The power-on lamp (green) will light for a moment and the mo nit or will tur n on . Pr ess the power switch again to turn o ff the camera.
