71 Editing Images Editing Image g Small Picture: Resizing Images Create a small copy of the current image. Suitable for uploading to web sites or sending by e-mail. The following sizes are available: l 640 ×480 , m 320×240 , and n 160×120 . Small copies are saved as JPEG files wi th a compression ratio of 1:16.
72 Editing Images Editing Image o Crop: Creating a Cropped Copy Create a copy containing only the port ion visible in the monitor when u is displayed with playback zoom ( A 62) enabled. Cropped copies are saved as separate files. 1 Rotate the zoom control to g ( i ) in full-frame playback mode to zoom in on the image.
73 Movie Recording and Playback Movie Recording and Playback Recor ding Movies You can use the camera to record high-definition movies with sound. The maximum movie length for each movie is 29 minutes, re gardless of memory card capacity ( A 77). 1 Turn the camera on and display the shooting mode screen.
74 Recording Movies Movie Recording and Playback B Recording Movies • When recording movies, we recommend using a memo ry card with a Cl ass 6 or hig her speed class rating ( A 122). W hen using a memory card wi th a low sp eed class, recording may stop unexpectedly.

77 Recording Movies Movie Recording and Playback D Movie Options The movie menu offers the options shown below. As resolution and bit rate increase, image quality and file size also increase. • The movie bitra te is the volume of movie data recorded per second.
78 Recording Movies Movie Recording and Playback I Autofocus Mode Choose how the camera focuses in movie mode. Y Wind Noise Reduction Reduces the effects of wind noise when recording movies. The icon for the current setting is disp layed in the monitor duri ng shooting ( A 8).
79 Movie Recording and Playback Movie Pla yback In full-frame playback mode ( A 26), movies can be identified by the Movie options icon ( A 77). To play a movie, display it in full-fr ame playback mode and press k . Use the zoom control g ( i )/ f ( h ) during playback to adjust the volume.

87 Connecting to Tele visions, Computers and Printers Connecting to a P rinter Users of PictBridge-compa tible ( A 136) printers can connect the camera directly to the printer and print images without using a computer.
