Settings ca n be adjusted in the shooting menu ( A 68) to suit the shoo ting co nditio ns and th e typ e of sho t you wa nt to captur e. • You ca n chang e how the camera s elects the a rea of th e fram e to focu s on by c hanging the AF area mode setting ( A 68).

49 Shooting Features B Notes About Taking 3D Im ages • Moving subjects are not sui ted to 3D photography. • Images have a l ess pronounced 3 D feel as the d istance between the camera a n d background is increased. • Images m ay have a less pronoun ced 3D fe el when the subject is d ark or when the second im age is not aligned precis ely.

You can use the skin softening opt ion to smooth th e skin tones of hu man faces.

59 Shooting Features C Red-eye Reduction This camera uses Adva nced Red- Eye Red uctio n (In-Ca mera Re d-Eye Fix). If the camera detects red eye while saving an im age, the affected ar ea will be processed to reduce red-eye befo re the image is saved .
