Global Positioning System 4 Connecting to AC Power and Charging the Battery For the first time, you should charge it for at least 8 hours. Follow the 2 steps bel ow to charge the battery . 1. Connect the AC power adapter to the miniUSB port. 2. Plug the AC adapter into a wall outlet.
Chapter 1: Getting S tarted 5 Using Y our Device in a Car A car holder and a car charger are sup plied with your device. Inst alling the Car Holder Select an appropriate l ocation for the car holder. Never place the holder where the driver’ s field of vision is blocked.
Global Positioning System 6 S tep 4: Push the car mount lock towards the sucki ng disc to make the disc tightly suck the windshield of your car . S tep 5: Set the GPS product downwards and inward at the degree of 15 towards 2 sides of l ower hooks of the car jacket; then, push the product backwards to wedge the upper hook of the car jacket.
Chapter 1: Getting S tarted 7 Connecting to a PC Note Always ensure that the GPS device and any other external device connected to the GPS device are switched off and unplugged from the power supply before you attempt to connect the GPS device to any external device.

Chapter 2: Basic Operation Chapter 2 Basic Operation Power ON and OFF Use the power button to power ON and OFF your device. When you press the power button to turn of f the product, your device actually enters a suspend mode a nd the system stops operating.
Global Positioning System 10 System V olume Control T o Increase or decrease the volume, you can press the Vo l u m e U p Key or the V olume Down Key . Whenever pressing the Vo l u m e U p Ke y or the Vo l u m e D o w n Key , you will see the system volume scale ri ght below on the screen.
Chapter 2: Basi c Operation 11 Main Menu At the first time which you initialize your device, the Main Menu appears i n about 3~5 seconds. The Main Menu is your st arting place for various ta sks.
Global Positioning System 12 Setup Submenu On this setting page, you can customize the device settin gs, such as bac klight, volume, date and time. Once you change the settings, your new settings will remain until you change them again.

Chapter 3: Device Settings Chapter 3 Device Settings Y ou can customize the device settings, such a s brightness, volume, date and time, etc. Once you change the settings, your new setting s will remain until you change them next time. T o open the Setup menu, first tap the Setup icon on the main menu.

T o change the time zone, tap the left/right arrow on the Time Zone bar . Then, click at the upper right corner o f the page to save the setting a nd go back to the last page .
Chapter 3: Device Settings 17 Ti m e Firstly , tap the rectangle area of Time . T o change Hour , Minute , and Second , tap the left/right arrow on the Time bar . Then, click at the upper right corner o f the page to save the setting a nd go back to the last page .
Global Positioning System 18 T ap the + or – symbol to increase o r decrease t he volume. Then, click at the upper right corner of the p age to save the setting and go back to the last pag e. Battery T ap Battery on the Setup submenu to check the remaining power of your battery and/or cho ose the idle time for power saving.
Chapter 3: Device Settings 19 Display T ap Display on the Setup subm enu. The Display page app ears in the display . T ap the right or left arrow t o choose the idle time of display . Y ou can set a timer to automatically turn off your display when it is idle for a set period of time.
Global Positioning System 20 Y ou see a screen in a language you have set to. T ap and hold the center of the target. When the target moves to another position, t ap and hold the center of the new t arget. Repeat each time to complete the calibration proce ss.

Chapter 4: Main Menu Chapter 4 Main Menu Whenever switching ON the GPS dev ice, you will see the main menu of system on the display . This main menu is the st arting point where all of the functions exist for you to use. Y ou can tap one of the functional icons to start the function you want.
Global Positioning System 24 Photo Y ou can view photos or slidesh ow o n your GPS device. T ap Photo on the main menu of the display . After t apping the Photo icon on the main menu, you enter the Photo page.

Y ou can also scroll up or down to search up or down the list of folders or photos.
