3 1. OVERVIEW NV66-G2 (the unit) is optoelectronic gog gles intended for observation of objects a nd orie ntation at ni ght or under dark condit ions. T he unit is equippe d with a generation 2+ intensifier tube, which amplifies low light, such as moonlight , starli ght or ma n-made light .

10 5. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS 5.1 Installing battery Unpack the device. Unit is supp lied with battery not installed. Prior to installing the batter y, make sure the switch (1, Fig.1) is in the OFF position and the lens cap is on. Unscrew the battery compartment cover (5, Fig.
11 Fig.3 Low bat tery indi cator When the unit is ON user m ay see a circular indicator through the eyepiece (F ig. 3). It is hard ly noticeable when not active. Flashing indicates low batte ry. For uninterrupted operation keep fresh batteries ready and repl ace them on time.
12 5.4 Operating at night Take off the l ens cover (6, Fig.1) from t he lens (7, Fig .1). Turn on the d evice using sw itch (1, Fi g.1). If lig hting is insufficient, turn on the IR illuminato r by turning switch (1, Fig.1). The red i ndicator (Fig. 3 ) will go on.

14 5.9 Installation of interchangeable lenses Do not apply an excessive force when changing the lenses. The following p rocedure is identical f or 1x, 4x, 5x or 8x lenses. 1. Make sure the unit is off. 2. Remove t he lens cap (6, Fig.1) . 3. Detach the current lens: hold the lens by its base (1, Fig.

16 5.10 Using opti onal helmet mount The unit can b e equipped wi th an opt ional he lmet m ount. This mount c an be customized to fit a variet y of existing helmet models. 17 The unit is fixed to the mount by a locking screw (1, Fig. 7). To adjust the position of the unit to your eye level, use the screw (4, Fig. 7). To adjust the eye relief first loosen locking screw (1, Fig. 7) and set a com f ortable dist ance between the eyes and t he eyepiece; then tighten the locking screw back.
18 6. TROUBLESHOOTING 6.1 No green light through eyepieces Check that the batteries are installed prop erly. Check the charge of the batteries. Replace t he m if they are weak. 6.2 Image is unclear Check if the lenses are fogg y or dusty. Clean them if necessary.
19 6.5 Visibility decreased or disappeared Bright light sources (t he Moon, projectors or hea dlights) may cause visibility to degrade or even co mpletely disappear. Move t he device a way from t he light source immediately. The image will be restored within two minutes.
20 7. WARRANTY NEWCON warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanshi p for one year from the date of the original purchase, longer wa rranty is available, subject to the terms of the specific sales contract.
