8 1 1. Har dwar e Setup The Nighthawk AC1750 Smart WiFi Router delivers combined WiFi connection speeds up to AC1750 (450 Mbps 1 at 2.4 GHz 802.1 1n and 1300 Mbps 2 at 5 GHz 802.1 1ac). Nighthawk is ideal for bandwidth-hungry activities such as online gaming and video streaming, powered by a dual-core 1 GHz processor .

If you set up your computer to use a static IP address, change the settings so that it uses Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).

21 3 3. Specif y Y our Int ernet Settings Usually , the quickest way to set up the router to use your Internet connection is to allow the genie to detect the Internet connection when you first access the router with an Internet browser . Y ou can also customize or specify your Internet settings.
Specify Y our Internet Settings 22 Nighthawk AC1750 Smart WiFi Router Use the Int ernet Setup Wizar d Y ou can use the Setup Wizard to detect your Internet settings and automatically set up your router. The Setup Wizard is not the same as the genie screens that display the first time you connect to your router to set it up.
Specify Y our Internet Settings 23 Nighthawk AC1750 Smart WiFi Rout er The Setup Wizard searches your Internet connection for servers and protocols to determine your ISP configuration. Manually Set Up the Int ernet Connec tion Y ou can view or change the router’s Internet connection settings.
