E – 9 Lens Shift Adjustable Range Lens Shift Adjustable Range f or Desktop and Ceiling Mount Application The diagram belo w shows the location of the image position in the lens . The lens can be shifted within the shaded area as sho wn using the normal projection position as a star ting point.

E – 12 CANCEL About Startup Screen (Menu Language Select scr een) When you first turn on the projector , you will get the Star tup screen. This screen giv es you the oppor tunity to select one of the se ven menu languages: English, German, F rench, Italian, Spanish,Swedish and J apanese.
E – 13 Set up the projector 1. T urn on the projector 2. Select your type of pr ojection: Desktop fr ont, ceiling rear , desktop r ear , and ceiling front. 3. Display the test pattern by pr essing the TEST button on the r e- mote contr ol or using the menu.
E – 14 Keystone Keystone distortion Normal K eystone is the distor tion of a projected image that usually creates a wider top than bottom. Aiming a projector upward on a wall rather than straight at a w all creates this distor tion. Use the 䊴 or 䊳 buttons on the slide bar to correct this k e ystone (trapezoidal) distor tion.

Select [Menu] → [Projector Options] → [Setup] → [P age 5] → [Projector ID] and assign an ID number to each projector .
E – 24 Using the RGB DIGIT AL connectors (SX6000 only) The Link mode function allows y ou to adjust or set multiple projectors using the RGB DIGIT AL and OPTION connectors. The D VI DIGIT AL input accepts up to the SXGA (1280 x 1024 @75Hz) signal. NOTE: The Auto Adjust feature does not work for DVI digital signal.
E – 25 NOTE: The change is stored automatically when any one of the following proce- dures is performed: * The on-screen dissapears. * The projector goes into standby . * One input is switched to another . 7. Selecting a menu item from the "Basic/Custom Menu Edit" list, allo ws you to custom tailor the men u items to your needs. 1. E – 31 Menu Descriptions & Functions Source Select Enables y ou to select a video source such as a VCR, D VD play er , laser disc pla yer , computer or document camera depending on what is connected to your inputs .
E – 32 Picture Select "List" and press ENTER to display the direct K e y assignment list. Select "OK" and press ENTER to close the window . T o close the List window , press CANCEL on the remote. Adjust (Source) This option corrects gamma.
E – 33 Horizontal/V ertical Position (when Auto Adjust is off): Adjusts the image location from left to right. This adjustment is made automatically when the Auto Adjust is turned on. Aspect Ratio (not available for RGB) : Y ou can select the aspect ratio for input signal and displa y area re- spectively .
E – 34 Color Matrix First, select an appropriate color matrix for your input signal, either HDTV or SDTV . Then select an appropriate matrix type from B-Y/R- Y , Cb/Cr, Pb/Pr or IVX. NOTE: The Color Matrix feature is available for component video signal only.
E – 35 Select either the RGB signal type or the Component signal type. RGB ............. RGB signal Component .. Composite signals such as YCbCr/YPbPr NOTE: This feature is available on RGB 1 and 2 only . Switcher Gain This feature adjusts the input le vel of the signal.
E – 36 Lamp Output When selecting "V ariable", use the slidebar to adjust f or desired pro- jector light output. Refer ence White Balance This feature adjusts the white balance that is used as a ref erence. This adjustment affects all sources .
E – 37 5. T o enable your setting, select Active on the Execute Switch. 6. Select OK and press the ENTER button on the remote control to complete the setting. NOTE: When On Timer is set and the projector is in the standby mode, the Status indicator flashes green to show that On Timer program is active.
E – 38 Setup Enables y ou to set operating options . Press "OK" to sav e your changes f or all the features of P age1, Page2, P age3, Page 4 and P age5.
E – 39 Keystone Save This option enables y ou to sav e your current keystone settings . Saving y our change once affects all sources . The changes are sav ed when you turn off the projector . Doubler (V ideo / S-V ideo Only) This sets double speed interpolation of the video signal.
