9 1 The power buttons labeled POWER ON and POWER OFF will toggle the T562 from standby to ON position, only if the power button on the left front of the T562 is in the ON (depr essed) state.
10 When you want to play back DVD videodiscs, turn on the TV and select the video input source connected to the DVD player . When you want to enjoy the sound of DVD videodiscs or audio CDs from the audio system, turn on the audio system and select the input source connected to the DVD player .
11 SCREEN SA VE The screen saver is useful to pr event your display from becoming damaged. The scr een saver picture appears when you leave the T562 in pause or stop mode for about 8 minutes. AUTOMA TIC POWER OFF FUNCTION The T562 can be powered to standby by the 12V -TRIGGER IN.
12 Y ou can play back discs at various speeds. SCANNING A T HIGH SPEED To scan at fast-forward or fast-r everse during playback, press the SCAN button during playback The speed of advance (reverse) is r elatively slow at first. When the button is pressed again, the speed becomes faster .

14 Some DVDs may contain scenes, which have been shot simultaneously from a number of dif ferent angles. For these discs, the same scene can be viewed from each of these dif ferent angles using the ANGLE button. (The recor ded angles differ depending on the disc used.
15 Storing a MARKER in the T562’ s memory is similar to marking your page in a book. It allows you to quickly r eturn to any point on the disc. 1P r ess MARKER during play at the starting point to be viewed (listened to) again Indicates 1/9 is stored in the memory .

ABOUT DOLBY DIGIT AL SOUND Dolby Digital is the surround sound technology used in theatr es showing the latest movies, and is now available to repr oduce this realistic ef fect in the home.
19 DOLBY PRO LOGIC SURROUND SOUND One can enjoy the high quality sound of Dolby Pro Logic Surr ound Sound if your A/V receiver is equipped with a Dolby Pr o Logic Surround Sound processor or decoder .
20 2 CHANNEL DIGIT AL STEREO SOUND Y ou can enjoy the dynamic sound of 2 Channel Digital Stereo by connecting this DVD player to a receiver equipped with a digital audio input and speaker system (right and left front speakers).
21 DTS SOUND In order to enjoy DTS sound your A/V Receiver or pr ocessor must be equipped with a DTS Decoder . The digital output of the T562 must be set to Analogue Off and the disc must have a DTS soundtrack. Ther e is no analogue output of the T562 for DTS soundtrack.
22 Good quality sound of 2-Channel Stereo system can be achieved by connecting this DVD player to a r eceiver equipped with a two analogue audio inputs (right and left) and speaker system (right and left front speakers).

The settings will be retained in the memory until they ar e changed, even if the power is switched off.
25 SELECTING VIDEO DISPLA Y MODE To select the appropriate screen type according to your TV set, one selects the SETUP menu form the r emote. Chose ‘Video’, ‘Display Mode’, then the three choices that best fit your TV set.
