Use of the wrong filter may cause coffee to overflow the filter during brewing.

Clean This Machine Before Using Make sure your first cup of coffee is as good as can be by cleaning THE EXPERT before you use it the first time. Just follow these simple steps: funnel 3. Wash the decanter, lid and brew funnel in a mixture of mild detergent and water.
How To Brew Coffee 1. Be sure to rinse out all traces of the blue solution in your coffeemaker by running a decanter of water only (no cleaning solution) through the coffeemaker in the “Brewer On” mode. 10. Continue to rinse out the unit, decanter and brew funnel until there is no trace of the blue solution.
