These heat -retaining bags usually con- tain a thin layer of aluminium foil whic h reflects microwaves. This reflected en- ergy can, in tur n, cau se the outer paper coverin g to become so hot that it ignites.
Special ac cessories Never pla ce the hot glass tr ay (or any other hot co oking cont ainers) onto a c old sur face, such as a tile or granite work top. The tray or container could shatte r or break and the worktop surf ace could be damaged. U se a heat- resistant mat or wire cooling rack .

Operating modes M 626 EC, M 636 EC The 7 operating modes det ailed below ar e available. M 616 EG, M 6 26 EG, M 636 EG Her e you can choose be tween 3 opera- ting modes, Microwave Solo, Grill and a combination of the se two , see 1, 4, and 7 below; (Fan Heat and Fan G rill- ing (with or without microwave mode) ar e not availabl e).
Operation Microwave-Solo There is a choice of 9 power se ttings. The higher the pow er setting, the more microwaves reach the food. When heating up food of differing com- position, or which ca nnot be stirred or turn ed during co oking, as with a pla ted meal, it is preferable to heat these on a lower p ower setting.
Operation Switching off the turntable The tur ntable i s always switched on and should only be sw itched off if there is a danger of someth ing blockin g it, e.g. a large dish w hich is wider tha n the tur ntable. Pre ss the touchpad befor e you star t the c ooking process to switch off the turnt able.

Practical tips After re-heating Be careful when removing a dish from the oven. It may be hot .
