Lights ( green) to i ndicate that the syst em is ready for arm ing. If a zone is not s ecured, the l ight will be off and the zone w ill display in t he window.
6 ARMING WHE N LE A VING If you are leav ing w ith no other family member s remaining h ome: 1 Check the Touchpa d indicators. The green STA TUS light must be ON- STEADY, and the LCD display w ill read " SYSTEM READY ", indicating that the system is read y to arm.
7 BYPASSING FAULTED ZONES If you are trying to arm with a faulted zone or zones, the LCD display will cl earl y indicate which zone(s) are faulted. If you cannot repair the z one(s), they ma y be temporarily removed from the system, or by passed, using the f ollow ing procedure: 1 Press the B Y P A S S button.
8 A RMING STAY: PROTECTI NG YOURSELF AT HOME Arming in the Stay mode a llows you to rem ain home with the pe rim eter protection active but with the interior protection off, so that you may move freely within the premises. Arm Stay at the Gara ge Touchpad as follows: 1 Check the T ouchpad indicators.
9 AR M I N G AN D L E AV I N G W I T H O T H E R S S T A Y I N G 1 Check the T ouchpad indicators. The green ST ATUS lig ht m us t be ON- STE ADY, and the LCD dis- play will read " SYSTEM R EADY ", indicating that the system is ready to arm.
10 EXITING WITH THE SYSTE M ALREADY ARMED 1 Press the STA Y button. The Touchpad will voice prompt the correct action. The red ARM ED light will tur n on st ea d y, i ndic ati ng th at you have up to 3 min utes to ex it t hro u gh the garage and close the door.
11 EXITING WITH THE SYSTEM ALREADY ARMED 1 Press the AWAY button. The Touchpad will voice prompt the correct ac tion. • If you chan ge your mind af ter pressing AW AY , pr ess SILENCE to clear arming. The red ARM ED light will turn on steady, indicating that yo u have up to 3 minutes to exit through the garage and close the do or.
12 EMERGENCY BUTTONS Emerg enc y Button s (Only availa ble if programm ed). Fire Emergency Hold down the Fire butto n to alert the ce ntral st ation of a fire emergency. * (Fire Emer ge nc y programmed? YES NO) Auxiliary Emergency H old down this b utton to alert the central station of an auxiliary emergency.
13 DISARMING THE SYSTEM DISARMI NG WHEN RETURNING HOME: W hen returning home, open your garage door from the out side to automatically disa rm the system. The red ARM E D light turn off and the green STATU S light w ill tur n on. If an alarm has occurred while you were away, opening the garage door will initiat e an entry delay sequence.
14 S I L E N C I N G AN AL AR M If an alarm occurs w hile y ou are at home: The Touchp ad siren will sound an d the red AR ME D light will flash. The LCD display will read "ALARM".
15 If a fire is detected, the siren will sound a distin ct pulsating tone and the LCD window will flash the word FIRE. If a Fire Alarm does occur: 1 If a fire is in progress, evacua te the premises immediately! Call the Fire Depa rt m ent from an outsid e phone.
16 FIRE PROTECTION Preparing a F ire Escape Plan Even with the most adv anced fi re alarm system, adequ ate protection requires an escape plan. To prepare your plan, draw floor plans of your buildi ng. S how two exits - a front or back door and a window fr om e ach room .
17 TOUCHPAD MENU MODE The Touchpad c an provide access t o a wide as sortment of utility functio ns, each d isplayed on the Touchpad LCD window in a prompting “YES/N O” form at. 1 To ent er Touchpad Menu Mode, press MENU . 2 To sk ip a function, press NO .

21 USER PROGRAM MODE User Program Mode Your Installer has pro grammed into your system a uniquel y coded digital Mast er I-FOB that can be used to not only disarm the sy stem and silence the siren, but also allows access to the User Program Mode .

30 Lost Opener Mode In the event that your garage door remote control (or key that op era tes your garage door opener) is lost or stolen, the system m ay st ill be used b y arming in the Lost Garage Door Opener Mode. In Lost Garage Door Opener Mode, the sy stem may be armed as usual.
