P arental control function The P arental Control Function (V -Chip) is used to bloc k program viewing based on the r atings sent by the broadcast station. The def ault setting is to allow all progr ams to be viewed. Viewing can be b lock ed by the type of program and b y the categor ies chosen to be bloc ked.
