10 Switch action CA UTION: • Bef ore plugging in the tool, always chec k to see that the s witch tr igger actuates properly and retur ns to the “ OFF ” position when released. T o prev ent the switch trigger from being accidentally pulled, a lock-off b utton is provided.
11 T o install the blade, f ollow the remov al procedure in rev erse. Install the cup washer , inner flange, saw b lade, outer flange and he x bolt on the spindle in that order. BE SURE T O TIGHTEN THE HEX BOL T CLOCKWISE SECUREL Y . After installing the blade , install the dust box and tighten the clamping screw to secure the dust bo x.
12 Hold the tool firmly . The tool is provided with both a front grip and rear handle. Use both to best gr asp the tool. If both hands are holding saw , they cannot be cut by the blade. Set the base on the workpiece to be cut without the blade making any contact.
13 Use a screwdriv er to remove the brush holder caps. T ake out the worn carbon br ushes , inser t the new ones and secure the brush holder caps. After replacing brushes, plug in the tool and break in brushes by running tool with no load f or about 10 minutes.
