You need to make sure that the TV is set to pick up either Cable TV stations or Antenna signals. In other words, the TV needs to know whether you have connected a Cable TV signal or a normal antenna to its ANTENNA plug.

_ _losed Captioning allows you to read the voice content of television programs on the TV screen. Designed to help the hearing impaired this feature uses on-screen "text boxes" to show dialogue and conversations while the TV program is in progress.
