9 Basic Operations Power on When power ed off, slide the po wer switch to the ON pos ition, and t hen press and hold the PLA Y button for 5 se conds. Power off When powered on, press and hold the power switc h for 5 seconds to p ower of f. Please note that if y ou set the power switch to t he OFF position, you will lo se any saved settings.
10 Inserting and removing th e Micr o SD card Inserting: En sure that the pla yer is powe red off, a nd disconnec ted from the computer. Hold the Micro SD car d face up (side wit h words) (wit h the dir ection of the disp lay screen a s the face) , and s lide the car d into the socket on the p layer, slightly p ast flush.
1. Open W indows Medi a Player and co nnect the p layer to a w orking US B port. W indows Media play er will prompt you with a setup screen asking y ou to name the MP3 pl ayer . 2. Once you ha ve named your M P3 playe r , select Finish, and your W indows Media Player will ope n to the Sync tab.
3. Drag your music to the sy nc list (on the right of the sc reen) from the list on the left. Once you ha ve selecte d the music you wis h to add to the pla yer , press Sy nc.
5. Once all the songs y ou have added a re synced to the unit, and W indows Me dia Player say s that is safe to discon nect your MP3 player , disconnect the device. COPY AND P ASTE Note- This alter nate method is used to load videos, pictures, a nd ebook files as well as audio files 1.
2. When the un it is connected to your co mputer, it will create a gray an d green icon in the syste m tray (lower right ha nd corner of you r desktop). The ic on will be called safely remove hardware. 3. Go to the “My Computer” se ction of your com puter .
4. Locate the drive created by the unit, generally just called Rem ovable Disk, with a letter in Pare nthesis. Drive lette rs vary dependi ng on your syste m configuratio n. 5. Open the drive by either double left cl icking on the drive itse lf, or by righ t clicking to ope n the option m enu then left clic k on the desire d drive.
6. Locate the music st ored o n your comp uter . Generally th is i s stored i n the “ My Music” fol der of your computer. NOTE: if you are unable to locat e the music on your compute r , click on start, search, fil es and fo lders, then search for “ *.
7. Once you have loc ated the song files, you can right clic k on the song itsel f, and select “copy ”. Open the removable disk drive , right click on i n the empty space, and select Paste . This will transfe r the song on to your player . 8. Repea t step 7 for as many songs as you wa nt to copy on to t he unit.

FM Radio NOTE- Befor e entering the FM Radio mode, ensur e that you connect your headphones. These will act as the antenna for th e player , and FM Radio will not function without them. In the main me nu, select the "FM" option and brie fly press the w heel button to access the FM m enu.
