1. Introduction The Voice/Fax/Data Modem connects your com puter to Internet , and all kin ds of BBS, and ot her popular Fax / Modems. This manual describes the features, procedures of installations, and AT command set...etc. of this modem . Indicators POWER: Power on indicator.

3. Installation 3.1 Hardware Installation **Do not power on your modem before y our finished the following installation. 1. Plug the male end of the RS-232 cab le into the connector marked RS-232 ○ 3 ble into th e serial port on the back of your computer.
3.2 Driver Installation 3.2.1 Installation Procedures for Windows 64-bits (XP/Win7/Vista) If your computer is using Windows 64-bits (XP/Win7/Vi sta), please open and browse the related folder of After Hardware Installation , switch on your co mputer and insert th e driver CD into the CD-ROM .
2. The Device Manager will show a unknown device, su ch as Analog Modem. Move your mouse on this unknown device and click right ke y of mouse, and select Update Driver Software .
4. Click Browse and open th e driv er files. e.g., F:DriverWin7_64. . If windows pop out a warring message. Select Install this driver software anyway and continue to install.

3.2.2 Installation Procedures for Windows 32-bits (XP/Win7/Vista) If your computer using Windows 32-bits (2K/XP/Win7/Vi sta), please open the related folder of CD. e.g., :DriverWin2K_XP. There is a Setup .exe file in the re la ted folder for installatio n.
4. Commands Most people use the communication software programs to tell modems what to do. Therefor e, you may not se the commands in this ch apter. Ho wever, if you prefer to communicat e with your modem directly, you can pe the c ommands described below.
