13 I nstalling the SIM car d and batter y 1 Remov e the battery cov er P ress and hold down the batter y release butt on at the top of the phone, and lift off the batter y cover . 2 Remov e the battery Hold the top edge of the batter y and, using the batt er y co ver , lif t it from the batt er y compar tment.

T o remov e the SIM card , pull it gently in the opposite dir ec tion. 4 Install the batter y Inser t the top of the battery first into the top edge of the batt er y compar tment.
15 5 Char ging y our phone Slide back the cov er of the charger socket on the side of your TU750. I nser t the char ger connector to the phone ('B' side of the connector has to be facing up when connecting to the phone) and then plug into the wall socket.

In idle mode, you can adjust the ring volume using the side v olume keys. Answ ering a Call When you r eceive a call , the phone rings and the phone icon appears on the screen.
21 T9 Mode This mode allo ws you to ent er wor ds with only one keystroke per letter . Each key on the keypad has more than one letter . The T9 mode automatically compar es your keystr okes with an internal linguistic dictionar y to determine the c orrect wor d, thus r equiring far few er keystr okes than the traditional ABC mode.
L G TU750 | U ser Guide 22 U sing the T9 Mode The T9 predictive text input mode allows y ou to enter w ords easily with a minimum number of key presses . As you pr ess each key , the phone begins to displa y the characters that it thinks you are typing based on a built-in dictionar y .

25 I n- Call Menu Y our phone provides a number of contr ol func tions that you can use during a call. T o access these functions during a call, press the right soft key [Options].

Muting the Microphone Y ou can mute the microphone during a call by pr essing the lef t soft key [Mute]. The handset can be unmuted by pr essing the left sof t key [Unmute].
27 Making a S econd C all Y ou can make a second call while currently on a call simply b y entering the second number and pressing the [SEND] key . When the second call is connected , the first call is automatically placed on hold. Y ou can swap bet ween calls b y pressing the [SEND] key .

Messages 67 Sen t Menu 6.7 This is wher e you can view the lists and contents of sent messages and also verify if transmission was successful . The f ollowing [ Options] are available . Delete: Deletes the selected message from the Sent list. Selec t Multiple: Allows y ou to select multiple messages from the list.

Messages 69 Send Delivery Receipt: Allows y ou to send a deliv er y confirmation mail for a Multimedia Message . Send Read Receipt: Allow s you to send a message; read c onfirmation mail for a Multimedia Message . Download Options - Download W ithout Ask: Allows Multimedia Messages to be downloaded automatically .

71 I nt ernet This menu sho ws how to ac cess the Internet by launching the W AP bro wser . Note: Check the availability of W AP ser vices and pricing with y our network operator and/or the ser vice pro vider whose ser vice y ou wish to use. Ser vice pr oviders will also giv e you instructions on how to use their ser vices.

73 C ontacts Management Menu 8.5 This menu allo ws you to c opy all of the information fr om your SIM card , e.g . name, handset number , etc . to your handset. If a name is duplicated during the cop ying operation, the information is also duplicated .

All modes can be changed from the V olume menu under R ingtone . In addition, pressing and holding the [Star] key on idle screen mode switches between Normal mode and Vibrating mode .
Settings 75 Aler t T one Sounds: Allows y ou to selec t a set of aler t tones. Supports 2 aler t tone types, Aler t T one 1 and Aler t T one 2. Aler t T ype: Y ou can elec t to turn Aler t T ones to Ring or Silent. K eypad T one This menu option allo ws you to select a tone that the phone sounds when a key is pressed .
L G TU750 | U ser Guide Settings 76 Languages Y ou can change the language for the display t ex t on your phone . This change will also affect the Language Input mode. Set Shor tcuts Y ou can change the pref erences on the Shor tcuts that are curr ently assigned f or your navigation key T ouchpad.
Settings 77 Phone Lock Y ou can use a securit y code t o avoid unauthorized use of the phone . If you set phone lock to When P ow er On, the phone will request a security code whenever y ou switch the phone on. If you set the phone lock to When SIM Car d Changed, your phone will r equest a securit y code only when y ou change your SIM Car d.

Master Reset: Restor es the settings (e.g .: A udio, Displa y , Language, Date & Time , Bluetooth® Settings) stor ed in the handset memor y to default values.
Settings 79 Clocks & Calendar This f eature allow s you to select the Clock or Calendar displa y that appears on the standby scr een. Brightness Y ou can set the brightness of the display scr een and the keypad.

Settings 81 Answ er Mode This allo ws you to det ermine how to answer the phone . Any K ey : Y ou can answer an incoming call by tapping the [SEND] or [Clear] Key . except the [END] key . Send Ke y Only: Y ou can only answer an inc oming call by pressing the [SEND] key .

A f ter tapping [New], you can add t o the call reject list by selecting [C ontac t List] or [New Number]. When you add a number to the list, y ou can add the number by entering it directly or by sear ching for the number in the Contact List.
Settings 83 Hands-free pr ofile This icon appears when the hands-free pr ofile is used between the hands-free devic e This allo ws you to call using a Bluetooth® connection. A2DP profile This icon appears when the A2DP profile is used between the ster eo headset device and the phone.

How ever , you cannot delet e or edit default configurations pr ovided by Rogers . Set Storage Defaults Y ou can assign the default storage to Phone Memor y or Memor y Car d. Applica tion S ettings Menu 9.8 This Menu allow s you to adjust the settings to the f ollowing f eatures on the phone.
Settings 87 New: Allows y ou to creat e a maximum of 20 new accounts . Note: Y ou cannot edit and delete pre -installed accounts . In order to creat e a new account, please fill in the network inf ormation. 1. Ac count Name: Name associated with new account.

F rom this Menu y ou can choose to Allow C ook ies, or to Delet e Cookies that are alr eady on your phone .
