16 VX5400 Getting Started with Y our Phone Installing the Battery Insert the top of the battery into the opening on the back of the phone, then push the battery down until the latch clicks. Removing the Battery Move the battery latch up, and lift the battery from the battery compartment.
VX5400 17 Battery T emperature Protection If the battery gets overheated, the phone will automatically turn off. When you turn the phone back on, a message pops up alerting you that the phone was powered off for your safety . Battery Charge Level Y ou can find the battery charge level at the top right of the LCD screen.
